When Communism fell in Hungary in 1989, there was a lot of debate about what to do with the statues that covered the streets, particularly in Budapest. Now they have been rounded up and stuck in a little park on the outskirts of the city. It’s difficult to get to, badly signposted and not really worth the entrance fee, although there is a small badly lit museum outside which you can easily get in for free and has a very good cinema feature from the training archives of the secret police.
These are some of the statues.
